History
IA-Industrias Alimentarias, the first company of the corporation, was born in 1987. During the first six years, we dedicated ourselves to canned fruit, and in 1993 we decided to specialize in the production of jams. Today, we are the leading jam-producing company in Peru, with 90% of the local market and growing exporting relationships to other countries in America.
Then, in 1995 we introduced a line of candied fruits in collaboration with Nestle-Peru. Additionally, we began to invest in strawberry fields and freezing equipment. These investments drove us to set up an agricultural area to guarantee the traceability of our product, allowing our business to begin exporting frozen foods, creating the company MB-MEBOL and successfully diversifying the company.
In 2015, as part of our commercial strategy, we acquired a new plant to process fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables, creating the company MEBOL GF.
We have a multidisciplinary team of highly committed and trained professionals in all areas, contributing to general corporate progress. Together with our partners, we offer healthy and fresh products to households worldwide.
